Ash has earned his third Gym Badge, and today he and his friends are taking a walk around Vermilion Harbor, where many cruise ships dock year round. Not that they can afford to get aboard one of those.
Suddenly, two girls approach them with free boarding passes to the St. Anne, a renown luxury cruise liner. The ship is holding a private party for Pokémon trainers only, and the girls cannot attend.
